What is
4D Laser?
Liposculpture?
High-definition 4D Liposculpture – Total Definer is a new generation liposuction technology that selectively targets fatty tissue, leaving blood vessels and nerves unaffected, reducing pain and inflammation post-surgery, and promoting a faster and smoother recovery. The surgical technique is customized to the patient's needs.
- Liposuction involves fat removal, while liposculpture includes transferring the extracted fat to another area of the body to shape or add volume. The high-definition or HD technique takes liposuction to a new level of evolution.
- Unlike traditional liposculpture, which focuses on removing ideally localized fat, 4D Liposculpture removes deeper layers of fat, as well as superficial and subdermal layers, relocating fat to areas with less volume to highlight muscles and give an athletic appearance.
- Beyond traditional liposuction, 4D Liposculpture focuses on the entire body. This comprehensive procedure creates a more proportioned body by addressing multiple areas at once, including the abdomen, flanks, arms, thighs, buttocks, chest, and back.
- As with any medical procedure, new knowledge, evolution, and the application of new technology lead to new techniques or the refinement of existing ones to meet new needs or improve results.
- Body transformation specialist, Dr. Alejandro Leal, with his 4D Liposculpture – Total Definer procedure, not only removes unwanted fat but also tightens the skin, reduces cellulite, creates definition, improves breast contour, and corrects failed surgeries.
- At his state-of-the-art practice in Guadalajara, Dr. Leal develops a personalized approach for each of his patients. His unique treatments combine cutting-edge techniques and technologies to deliver remarkable results.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is an ideal candidate for High-Definition Liposuction?
The best candidate for liposuction is someone with a normal weight for their height and age, who has localized fat deposits or mild overweight. Liposculpture is not a weight loss method but is designed for contouring. Candidates should be healthy, with good skin elasticity, and typically exercise, seeking an athletic look.
The best way to evaluate if you are a candidate is to schedule a consultation and define your expectations and goals for the procedure.
What is the recovery process for High-Definition Liposuction?
Recovery is much quicker and safer than traditional liposculpture. After the minimally invasive surgery, a special compression garment must be worn, a doctor-prescribed diet followed, and post-surgical rehabilitation therapies performed to reduce inflammation, accelerating recovery. The patient can resume normal activities within 7 days after surgery and should wear compression garments for 3 to 8 weeks, unlike conventional liposuction which requires 12 or more weeks. After 3 weeks, exercise can begin.
While results are visible from the first month, they become fully apparent between 4 and 6 months and are permanent, provided a healthy diet and regular exercise are maintained.
Are there risks with this surgery?
As with any surgery, there are some risks, though they are generally minor compared to the benefits. Risks can be minimized by taking proper precautions and following guidelines and recommendations to mitigate them. It is very important to follow all medical advice to ensure a successful recovery and achieve the desired results.
Can HD Liposuction be combined with other procedures?
Liposuction removes fat, while liposculpture transfers that fat to other areas of the body to shape or add volume. This procedure can be combined with others such as breast augmentation, buttock augmentation (gluteal fat transfer), and calf augmentation. In male patients, it can include pectoral augmentation with fat, shoulder and arm definition, as well as buttock and calf enhancement and reshaping.
State-of-the-art technologies we use at Liposser:
PAL Microaire: The PAL (power-assisted liposuction) system uses very fine cannulas that, with an oscillating motion, are inserted through adipose tissue, vibrating the tissues and extracting fat with great precision in a shorter surgery time, also allowing for fat grafting (liposculpture).
K Blue Laser: The world’s first blue laser, with 3 simultaneous wavelengths, providing 50% skin tightening, muscle definition, and blood vessel sealing, which reduces inflammation with an analgesic effect and results in fewer bruises for a more comfortable post-operative experience.
BODYTITE AND MORPHEUS8 BODY: A technology that uses fractionated radiofrequency energy for lipolysis and 90% maximum skin tightening with muscle definition for a sculpted body. Painless post-op, quick recovery, ideal for patients with moderate to severe sagging who want to avoid cuts on their bodies. Suitable for patients aged 35 and older.
