WHAT IS HD 360 LASER LIPO?
High-definition (HD) 360 liposculpture is a new generation liposuction technology that selectively acts on fatty tissue, allowing other tissues such as blood vessels and nerves to remain unaffected, thereby reducing pain and inflammation during the postoperative period, which favors better and faster patient recovery. The surgical technique is personalized to the patient’s needs.
Liposuction involves the removal of fat, while liposculpture includes the transfer of this extracted fat to another body region to provide shaping or volume. The HD technique takes liposuction to a new level of evolution.
Unlike traditional liposculpture, which aims to remove ideally localized fat deposits, HD Lipo involves removing deeper layers of fat as well as superficial and subdermal layers to relocate fat to lower-volume areas with the goal of highlighting musculature and providing the appearance of an athletic person.
Beyond traditional liposuction, 360 HD Lipo focuses on the entire body.
This comprehensive procedure creates a more proportionate body by addressing multiple areas at once, including the abdomen, sides/flanks, arms, thighs, glutes, chest/breasts, and back.
As with any medical procedure, new knowledge, evolution, and the application of new technology give rise to new techniques or the definition of existing ones to meet new needs or improve outcomes.
The transformation specialist, our exclusive plastic surgeon Dr. Alejandro Leal, with his HD liposculpture procedure, not only removes unwanted fat but can also tighten the skin, reduce cellulite, create definition, improve breast contour, and correct failed surgeries.
In his state-of-the-art medical practice in Guadalajara, Dr. Leal develops a personalized approach for each of his patients with HD 360 Lipo. His unique treatments combine cutting-edge techniques and technologies to deliver remarkable results.
Who is the ideal candidate for high-definition liposuction?
The best candidate for liposuction is someone with a normal weight for their height and age, who presents localized fat deposits in specific areas or who has mild overweight, as liposculpture is not a method for weight loss but for contouring. Candidates should be healthy, have good skin elasticity, and typically exercise and seek an athletic appearance.
The best way to evaluate candidacy is to schedule a consultation and define the expectations and goals for the procedure.
What is the postoperative period like for High-Definition Liposuction?
Regarding recovery, it is much faster and safer than traditional liposculpture. After the minimally invasive surgical procedure, a special compression garment must be worn, a nutritional regimen indicated by the doctor should be followed, and post-surgical rehabilitation therapies should be conducted to eliminate inflammation, which will help accelerate the recovery process.
Patients can resume normal activities within 7 days after the intervention and must wear compression garments for a period of 3 to 8 weeks, compared to conventional lipo, which is 12 weeks or more. After 3 weeks, patients can start exercising.
While results are visible from the first month, they can be definitively appreciated between 4 and 6 months and are permanent as long as a healthy diet is maintained and regular exercise is practiced.
