What is Enzymatic Lipo?
Mini enzymatic lipo is one of the most recent treatments for eliminating accumulated fat from identified areas. Its effectiveness lies in the application of biotechnology based on enzymes, making one session equivalent to five of any other treatment for localized fat reduction.
It consists of the intradermal injection of a cocktail of three enzymes into the adipose tissue. The number of sessions required varies for each patient, but the average is between 5 to 10 sessions. Although you may notice a difference from the first session, tangible results are typically seen starting from the third session.
The great advantage of enzymatic lipo is that it allows you to reduce those well-defined areas of accumulated fat in a short time, with a minimally invasive procedure that achieves natural reduction without causing tissue flaccidity. It can be performed on all parts of the body while maintaining overall harmony.
This is a fast, safe, outpatient treatment that is, above all, effective. The results obtained from mini enzymatic lipo are so impressive that one session is equivalent to five of conventional mesotherapy.
What are Lipoenzymes?
Enzymes are proteins that accelerate chemical reactions. Depending on the patient’s goal, their combinations vary, targeting lipolytic action, which destroys fat cells and improves blood circulation.
How do they work in metabolism?
The combination of enzymes is responsible for breaking down fat cells, transforming them into microparticles for easy absorption by the body or natural excretion through urine and sweating.
They consist of three main enzymes:
The enzymes used in treatments to eliminate accumulated fat are typically a combination of enzymes, vitamins, and hyaluronic acid, including:
- Hyaluronidase: Removes extracellular tissue and drains it to eliminate areas where fluids accumulate.
- Lipase: Acts as a lipolytic agent. It digests fat cells (adipocytes) by draining them to reduce their size.
- Collagenase: Increases firmness, tone, and improves elastin production.
The combination of these three enzymes has a bio-stimulatory effect that allows for the elimination of fat deposits on the face and body, reducing flaccidity, stretch marks, fibrosis, and cellulite.
Benefits of the treatment:
- Greater precision: Specifically developed for each pathology and acts only where the skin requires it.
- Greater penetration: Its molecular composition is much smaller than that of traditional cosmetics, allowing active ingredients to penetrate the deeper layers of the skin.
- Greater potency: Its concentration is much higher, enhancing and prolonging its effect.
- Better results: You will achieve excellent results with fewer sessions using lipoenzymes.
- Additionally, it decreases lipomas, scars, burn marks, rejuvenates, and shapes the facial oval.
- Helps achieve smoother, fresher, and younger-looking skin.
Does it involve any risks?
The enzymatic lipo treatment is very safe, and there are no serious risks associated with its use, provided it is administered by qualified personnel and with the highest standards of care.
The side effects are minimal. During the process, especially if dissolving fatty tissue, you might experience some burning; however, this will disappear shortly.
Also, side effects relate to the patient’s ability to tolerate pain. After the injection, they may experience some discomfort in the area caused by the application and may present some bruising.
